House Rules

Everyone in the house must abide by the house rules. It's the responsibility of staff, residents and members to enforce the house rules.

First and foremost, all community members must obey the Code of Conduct.

Some things we've learnt from experience lead to a more harmonious space...

  • Kitchen is only to be used with supervision of staff or fellows.
  • Drink responsibly.
  • No sleeping in the common areas overnight.
  • Store bikes on the terrace only.
    • Bikes may only be stored in the ground floor cloakroom during events.
  • No unattended guests in the house.
  • If you find an issue with the facilities, please report it to the facilities manager.

Guestroom

Guestroom is for members or their guests to use, but it's not a hotel - it's for people to use if they are doing something community related, e.g. travelling from out of town to attend an event, or to spend time with the fellows.

Pay what you want - we suggest £25/night, market rate is about £50/night.

Generally books up a couple of weeks in advance.

Reasonable use is a couple of days a month, or a couple of weeks a year.
